Poindexter > Shot from the bottom of Fontana Dam. This is what pours out from the Dam. To the right is a road called the Hellbender - lots of fun with straights for 100&#43; MPH sprints.

Poindexter > Not one of my favorite shots through the Dam, but I've always liked this setup. I have better photos under other Dragon Events sections on this site.
Poindexter > Shot from the bottom of Fontana Dam. This is the observatory look-out at the top of the Dam.
Poindexter > Everytime I go to the Dragon I head to Fontana Dam to take pictures (the views are incredible). However, this year I decided to take them in Infrared. This is a small island on the high side of the Dam.
Poindexter > The guy and his wife in this 993 C4S were just joyriding around for the day from their home in Charlotte, NC. They didn't realize they were on the Dragon, so we gave them a run they'll probably never forget! Too bad he couldn't stay in his lane, I would have really liked to see how much distance I could put on him on an honest run.
